Mar. 1-7, 2008 - Book shelves being added to loft.
Mar. 7 2008 - Picked out toilets.
Mar. 10 2008 - Picked out sinks and faucets. Painters worked today.
Mar. 11 2008 - Dave and our neighbor Gus worked on putting a covering under deck to keep our firewood dry. Gus used some of our left over wood to build his dogs a doghouse. Pictured is Kay, Gus' wife and either Thunder or Cherokee.
Mar. 12 2008 - Electrician there today adding switches and plugs in "almond" color.. I worked on getting lighting and switch plates for the master bath (some will be the bear ones above) and bedroom. Most switch plates will be in "almond" or wood grain. We noticed more work done on book shelves. We were made aware of a problem with run off by a neighbor so we had sheilding put up. Stones delivered.
Mar. 14 2008 - More work done on book shelves.
Mar. 15 2008 - Dave and I went and got the ceiling fans needed for all the rooms.
Mar. 16 2008 - Dave and I went and got the lighting for around the house. Got a pot rack with lighting like the one pictured above but mine is black. Sconce for stairwell to basement. And lighting for the bathrooms to go above mirrors but only have 2 lights..
Mar. 17 2008 - Water filter installed. Flooring in basement started. Stone guy did a little more. Countertops installed.. WOW tops turned out much better then I expected!..
Mar. 21 - 25 2008 - Floors were finished today (21st) so no work will be done inside for the next few days while they have time to dry. I'll get pictures next time I go in... Above included pictures of basement floor done in "pergo" the bathroom and kitchen counters.
Mar. 23, 2008 - I was wrong... Floors weren't finished on the 21st.. They put a coat of varnish on and somewhere between the 22-25 they put on another coat.. Tomorrow Dave and I go pick out appliances and more lights.
Mar. 24, 2008 - Picked out appliance.. going for black.
Mar. 25-26, 2008 - Faucet, showers and toilets installed. Floors almost done will get 1 more coat of varnish when appliances installed.
Mar. 27, 2008 - Knobs added to cabinets..
Mar. 29, 2008 - Retention pond put in..
Mar. 31, 2008 - Girl started wallpapering kitchen..
