GEORGIA NANCE OBITS

Feb 15, 1907

James H. NANCE, aged 26 years died at the residence of his parents Mr. and Mrs. John S. Nance, Oakland City, yesterday morning at 6:20 o'clock. The deceased was a telegraph operator. He lived in Atlanta up to five years ago when he moved to York York City. He contracted consumption there and came south to be cured and died while here. He was a member of the Masons Amity Lodge No. 323, New York City and the funeral services, which will take place the residence of his father and mother st 2:30 o'clock today will be in charge of Atlanta Lodge NO 59. He is survived by a child, his mother and father and several sisters, Interment will be in Westview.

Mrs. Claire Booth NANCE, Forty Valley, GA, died Monday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock at the home of her father, W. W. Booth, 312 Lee Street. Surviving are a husband, Dr. W. L. Nance, of Fort Valley; a father and mother, one child, one sister and two brothers.


H G NANCE 35 6/3/1926 at a private sanitarium in Milledgeville GA Leaves 5 bros - M H, J W, R W, A F, and 2 sisters Mrs T J Malcolm & Mrs Herbert Thrailkill. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery Was a pressman and member of the Pressman's Union. Lived in Atlanta 10 years before moving to Macon 5 years ago.
