was born about 1750. He immigrated before 1774 to Franklin Co., VA, from
Ireland.(179) He resided Stephens Hole Branch in 1774 in Botetourt Co.,
VA.(242) He owned land on 7 Apr 1784 in Marleys Branch, Bedford, VA.
(236) He died in 1812 in Montgomery Co., VA. He was also known as Delany.

In the name of God, amen, I Samuel Dulaney of Montgomery County
Virginia being through the abundant mercy and goodness of God tho weak of
body yet of sound and perfect understanding and memory do constitute this
my last will and testament as followeth. In premisses I give to my sone
(son) William Dulaney the sum of five shillings. I give to my sone (son)
Benjamin Dulaney the sum of five shillings. I give to my sone (son)
Daniel Dulaney the sum of five shillings. Likewise to my daughter Sarah
Reede (Reed) the sum of five shillings. I give to my daughter Rachel
Grimes (Graham) the sum of five shillings each, like money and I give to
my daughter Mary Davis five shillings the rest and residue of my goods
and chattels and personal estate, after payment of my debts, legacies and
personal expences (expenses) and unto my son Elijah Dulaney, whome (whom)
I make my sole executor of this, my last will and testament. I give and
bequeath to him and his heirs all and every messuages (house &
outbuildings), lands, tenements, whatever and wheresoever, whom I also
charge with the payment of my said legacies. In witness whereof I
hereunto set my hand and seal the 18th day of March in the year of our
Lorde (Lord) 1812.

Signed Sealed Published and delivered by the above named Samuel Dulaney
the testator for and as his last Will and Testament in the presents of us
who have submitted our names as Witness in his presence and at his
request Jerimiah Richards, William Prosise Sr At the Montgomery July
Court 1812 this Last Will and Testament of Samuel Dulaney deceased was
presented in court and proven by the oaths of Jeremiah Richards and
William Prosise Sr. The witnesses in there to and ordered to be recorded.
And at August following on the motion of Elijah Dulaney the Executor
Named in the Will of Samuel Dulaney proved and admitted to record at the
last court who made oath thereto according to law and with George Harbock
his ficurity entered into and acknowledged their Bond in the penalty of
Three Hundred dollars conditioned as the law directs. Certificate is
granted him for obtaining a probate thereof Teste Charles Payler ct.
