Came to Canada in 1791 and settled near Northport Ontario
Henry with brother william left Dutchess County NY about close of 1791 and settled on 1st concession of Sophiasburgh lots 34 and 35 or what is known as the Marsh Front about 1/2 mile west of Northport. Ref. Pioneers of Bay of Quinte page 328-


I am forwarding this information that my cousin had sent to me. I then realized, that the date for our Catherine was different and should have been 1807 unless
I am getting her date of birth mixed up with the baptismal date. If you look at the first date highlighted, it shows Henry Fox with Elizabeth (Demille) Demitt,
with the 28, Jan., 1803 date for Willliam's baptism, while the next date for Henry's child that was baptised is for Peter on 12 Nov. 1803.
This information leads me to believe that Elizabeth was the first wife and that she died and he remarried and had the rest of the children.
So, this is where my confusion lies.
