Born Feb. 17, 1911, in New Brighton. daughter of the late Wilier and Sad
ie Shaw Morgan, she was a Former teacher in the New Brighton area; a memb
er of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, New Brighton; United Metho
dist Women of the church, and a graduate of Geneva College. She was a memb
er of the Board of Dawes Manor, New Brighton; past president and memb
er of the Beaver County Woman's Club; a member of the Outlook Club; Childr
en's Aide Society, and a volunteer at The Medical Center. She was preced
ed in death by her husband, Melvin W. McDanel, March 1969. Surviving a
re a sister, Mrs. Fred (Mary W.) Ifft, Beaver Falls; two nieces, Mrs. Jo
hn (Donna Jane) Michel, Patterson Township, and Mrs. Joanne Roberts, Seatt
le. Wash., and a nephew, S.W. (Bud) McDanel, Sewickley.
Friends will be received Friday front 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p ni. in the DONA
LD D. DRUSCHEL FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, where a servi
ce will be conducted Saturday, Time will be announced in Friday's Times.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty T
ownship.
